- Find your Court Date
A new automated program to find courts dates for most cases in the State of Washington has been made available to the public by the Administrative Office of the courts. From your home terminal, just go to www.courts.wa.gov/calendars and click on “Find Your Court Date”. There you can confirm future court hearing dates fro district or municipal courts in the state of Washington, except for Seattle Municipal Court. You MUST enter the full name as it appears on your paperwork or have your case number to find the right case.

The Washington State Bar Association has available for the public a listing of the attorneys practicing law in Skagit County as well as the State of Washington. There is general information about Landlord Tenant Acts; Lemon Laws, Civil Disputes, etc. You can go to their web site and find all of this information and more.

Cross-Court Receipting
Paying fines by mail or appearing in person at a court to pay a fine is not convenient for everyone. Many individuals don’t have checking accounts and pay only in cash, many don’t drive and some just go to the wrong court to pay tickets. In recognition of this, the Skagit County District Court developed a cross–court receipting program for all Skagit County Courts of Limited Jurisdiction. The process allows a defendant to pay his ticket at ANY Skagit County Court. This program has proven very successful for the general public and its not unusual for us to take payments for other courts, especially for those defendants who’s license have been suspended and can’t drive.
