Subject: Non-Essential Businesses per Governor Inslee’s, “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” directive.

To Our Valued Citizens,

There have been reports a few of our local businesses are secretly remaining open. We would like to remind everyone, that by Order of Governor Jay Inslee, businesses not deemed ‘essential’ must remain closed during the ‘Stay Home-Stay Safe’ mandate.

The City of Sedro-Woolley is committed to remaining in compliance with this order and ask all nonessential businesses to do the same.

As a community we want to do our part to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If we want to get back to work, we need to keep ourselves, our family, friends, and our community safe by abiding by the Governor’s directives.

We know these have been trying times, and like you we look forward to the day we are past this
pandemic and back to our daily activities. We thank you for your patience and continued commitment to keeping our community safe.

Mayor Julia Johnson
Chief Lin Tucker, SWPD
Chief Dean Klinger, SWFD
