Subject: “We Scoop” Doggy Photo Contest and Pledge

In the spirit of Skagit Water Weeks, submit a picture(s) of your favorite cute pooch out enjoying our beautiful community and/or take the “We Scoop Pledge.” All pledge entries will receive a FREE pet waste bag dispenser. To enter the photo contest, submit up to 3 of your favorite photos of your dog along with your dog's name and your name between May 5th and May 31st. Visit the Skagit Conservation District’s website to submit photos and/or take the pledge: Prizes will be awarded on June to 10 overall photo contest winners (2 each from residents residing in the Cities of Anacortes, Burlington, Mount Vernon, and Sedro-Woolley and 2 from rural Skagit County). Winning photo entries will receive a handy Woof Pack Trail bag! Photo contest deadline is May 31st. Pet waste left on the ground can wash into storm drains, streams, rivers, and marine waters through rainfall, melting snow, and even runoff from sprinklers and can also put your health and your dog's health at risk. Event hosted by  Skagit Conservation District, Skagit County, and Cities of Anacortes, Burlington, Mount Vernon, and Sedro-Woolley.
