Finance Director
Wastewater Collection Specialist
  • The City of Sedro-Woolley is hiring for a Wastewater Collection Specialist to assist with operation and maintenance of the City’s Wastewater Collection System.  The position will also support operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant as needed.  Please review the full job description before applying.
  • This position requires:
    - High school graduate or GED
    - Washington State driver’s license and CDL endorsement (or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire) with a good driving record
    - Wastewater Collection Specialist certification or obtain within 1 year of hire
  • This is a union position, represented by AFSCME.  The salary range is $4290 - $5487 per month and includes an excellent benefit package.

Building Inspector/Plans Examiner
  • The City of Sedro-Woolley is hiring a Building Inspector/Plans Examiner in our Building Department.  Please review the full job description before applying.
  • This position requires ICC Residential Building Inspector, Commercial Building Inspector, Residential Plans Examiner and Building Plans Examiner certification and at least two years of experience in the building construction trades, building technology industry, building inspection, or a related field.
  • A Washington State Driver’s license and good driving record is required.
  • This is a union position represented by AFSCME. The salary range is $4911 - $6269 per month and includes an excellent benefit package.

Seasonal Public Works Worker
  • The City of Sedro-Woolley is currently seeking applicants for Seasonal Public Works Workers in the Public Works Operations division.  The position performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in the operation, maintenance, and repair of city parks, streets, drainage facilities, sidewalks and other public infrastructure.
  • The position will last approximately 4 months, from March 1st through November 30th, 4/10 work week, Monday - Thursday
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have a high school diploma or GED
    • Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the City
  • Pay range is $15 - $18 per hour depending on experience
